| GIII Houston Texans Women's Rivalry Jacket by G-III Apparel Love this jacket! | Like most women, I'm frequently chilly. Even a slightly too chilly air conditioner in the summer can leave me with goosebumps and chattering teeth. This lightweight jacket is the perfect solution to keep at your office chair or in the car to go to the movies, or just to peruse the cold stuff in the grocery store.
This jacket is lined, but still retains the size and weight of a windbreaker. The lining is not padded or filled, this is just like a double-lined windbreaker (jacket.) Like a windbreaker, it folds up to nothing and you could keep this in a tote or stuff in the console of your truck or anywhere.
As far as sizing, this jacket is fairly true to size in women's sizing. I typically wear size medium tops out of the women's department and opt for either a medium or large in jackets. I purchased this in a large and it is still roomy enough for me to wear a sweater underneath, which will come in handy in the winter, so if you want to be able to wear something bulky underneath, I'd go up a size.
I haven't tried to remove the arms to wear this as a vest and doubt that I will. I just like it so much as a jacket, why bother? I also like that this jacket has a rather large interior pocket that you could store lots of stuff in. The two exterior pockets are zippered, so you could put all kinds of stuff like cellphones and keys and have no fear of losing them.
I am sure that I will spend all winter in this jacket and it's absolutely perfect for milder winter climates in the southern USA. |
