| Tiered peasant dress by Termites ! |
| I purchased this item I now refer to as just a big waste & paid for rush shipping so I could wear this for a planned gathering. Well...shipping was fast & item arrived on the day it should have. (Love the shipping !) And then I opened the package...I noticed a beige powder inside the bag but brushed it off to be something added to package to keep the material from getting wet/damp. I pulled the dress from the bag & saw that the wooden buttons were deteriorated & I could see the holes where there termites crawled in & out. I touched the button & it crumbled (I barely touched it). I quickly put the dress back in the bag & called customer service @ Newport & while the guy on the phone was very apologetic, he stated he couldn't help me because I bought this item thru Amazon. Due to my schedule I've had nothing but trouble trying to contact Amazon's customer service department nor have I been able to return this bug infested dress that I can do nothing with. If you are buying this item I suggest you request item to be termite free prior to shipment. |

| As most people stated, the item is closer to brown than eggplant, but the dress itself is absolutely gorgeous. It fits like a dream, and the sizing measurements were right on. I bought this as my first piece of clothing after having a baby, and it was just perfect to make me feel lovely again. |

This dress is exactly as described. It is eggplant in color. I have all colors in the peasant dress. Put the eggplant next to the brown and there is a huge difference.
This dress is light, gauzy, comfortable beyond belief and very flattering to the figure. The length is ankle length for the tall and I couldn't be happier.
This dress is well made and looks fantastic. Highly recommend for those who like the peasant look and love the light gauzy materials. |
