These shoes are fantastic. They slip right on. They are cute (I have dark brown ones). They are comfortable to stand in. They don't begin to stink. They are water proof. They are really sturdy (you can't slip and slide, even on wet ground). When I first got these shoes, I didn't wear any other shoe for 3 weeks straight.
To find out my size, I just went to the mall and tried a sperrys. 10 is PERFECT for me. I couldn't believe how perfect the fit was. So I bought 10M on here and it was just perfect. I think AT FIRST I was like "This is kind of tight" but that's only because the strings come in tight. You can loosen them yourself. |

| I LOVE THESE SHOES. THEY ARE THE MOST COMFORTABLE SHOES I HAVE EVER WORN. LIKE THE PERSON BEFORE ME, I TOO HAD A LITTE TROUBLE GETTING THEM BROKEN IN BUT ALL NEW SHOES ARE THAT WAY. JUST WEAR THEM A FEW HOURS AT A TIME AND THE LEATHER GETS SOFT AND THEN, WOW!!!!!! WHAT A PAIR OF SHOES. I WOULD RECOMMEND THESE SHOES TO ANY AGED PERSON. THEY ARE EXCEPTIONAL SHOES. |

| I bought mine in 2005 and have been wearing them almost daily ever since (they are actually starting to be in need of replacement....). They are extremely comfortable and have held up really well. I imagine that if they are brand new, like many shoes, they require some breaking in, but they've never given me blisters and I rarely wear them with socks. |

I bought this specific shoe a year ago. I was glad to see a nice leather Sperry in a women's shoe. These shoes are supposed to be made to wear barefoot, but I discovered that upon walking the five minute walk to my first class, my heel had blistered up and actually BLED into the shoe. I was in pain and had to wear sandals for 2 weeks to heal up enough to wear socks and tennis shoes. There were blood stains in the heels of both of the shoes when I threw them in the trash. They weren't even worth giving away.
Avoid any Sperry that has a large, rough seam in the heel. It'll tear your foot apart. I had another softer Sperry a few years before my last horrible experience, and those didn't tear my feet up. My suggestion is to find another type of Sperry. These aren't worth wearing free. |
