| Nine West Women's Romulus by Nine West Should be called EXTENDED CALF boots! |
| These boots look gorgeous online. I receive my pair the other day and tried them on...To my dismay the gap between the boot and my leg at the top of my calf was HUGE. I am 5'9" and have athletic legs from running and could not believe how much extra space was between my leg and the boot. I was able to insert 4 fingers easily. Needless to say...I have returned these boots and would recommend that only women with extended calves consider these boots...Major disappointment... |

| After searching a while for a simple black high heel boot with no buckles that I can wear with short skirts or dresses..I found this boot online. I never buy shoes online but I decided to take the chance. I was kinda skeptical at first because the other review mentioned the large shaft on the boot. But, it looked like a nice boot. Well, when I got it I loved the leather..nice soft leather, which is what I was looking for. Then, I tried it on..my right boot fit perfectly in the shaft. There was little to no room, then I tried on the left and there was a little more room in the shaft than the right boot. But, the boot itself looked great on me. I was concerned about the room on the left, so I got some opinions and everyone said they liked it(well except for my brother who said it looked like a stripper boot and when was I buying a pole..LOL!) They said the little room in the left boot wasn't even noticeable. I started to send them back because of the slight imperfection but glad I kept them. Overall, nice boot. I wore them to work and wore them all day with no problems..very comfortable. |

| I searched high and low for a dress boot with no buckles and such, that was sleek and modern, and could go anywhere. And these are it. They are great quality and fit true to size, BUT the calves are HUGE. My legs are average sized (12 inch calves), and I can fit my entire hand down the back of the calf of the boot while wearing it. It pokes out at the back and side. I wanted them for tights and skirts/dresses, but they look a mess. I have no desire to cram "skinny jeans" down my boots, so these (and most all other boots this season) will simply not do. It looks sloppy for them to be so big. I had to return them. |
